School Resource Officers, Sgt. Tim Brooks and Deputy Hope Carlilse, from the Pike County Sherriff’s Office were our guest speaker. They talked about school safety, drug abuse, complexity of current youth culture in context of drugs. They informed the Club members about dangers associated with highly potent street drugs, firearms, student safety, and the approaches being used to build rapport and support for our school children.
Jekyll and Hyde – A performance at Troy University
Troy University students Riley Tuberville and Natalee Savage were our speakers who presented information about the musical, Jekyll and Hyde. Ms. Tuberville and Ms. Savage performed a duet from the musical for the club.
