Enclosed is the application for the Troy Rotary Club Nolan Hatcher Service Above Self Scholarship and the Troy Rotary Club Interact Scholarship. Both applications are the same. When, seeking out applicants, please remember that service activities receive the highest weight when determining who is awarded the scholarships. The student’s essay receives the second highest weight.
Deadline for returning the applications is April 24, 2023. If you could collect them and either return them to me at the Charles Henderson Child Health Center or call me at 334-300-5875 and I will arrange for someone to come by your school to pick up the applications. Please make sure each student does include a list of school/community activities, accomplishments, and service involvements.

Adam Rutkowski and Greg Herring are added to our club
Dr. Adam Rutkowski, who has visited with us twice already was added to our rotary club. Adam would be a third generation Rotarian.
Greg Herring, the Plant Manager at Lockheed Martin is a new rotarian.

Troy Baseball Head Coach Skylar Meade provided an update on the upcoming baseball season. The season opens against the University of Evansville on February 17, 2023.

Rotary club presents a check to Janet Stewart of Troy Regional Medical Center
Janet Steward was our noon speaker. She is the new Director of Marketing and Communications at Troy Regional Medical Center. She was also presented a check for $500 to support Troy Medical Foundation.
Jon Fulmar, Assistant District Attorney spoke at the club
Jon Fulmar, assistant District Attorney at 12th Judicial Circuit spoked at our noon club meeting. He gave insight about his work and challenges he faces during his time as a DA. We are thankful for the great work he has been doing with the law enforcement.
