Mr. Will Ratcliff was our club speaker. He is a Chairperson 2023 International Peace Conference. He gave a presentation on Peace Conference which is going to take place in Birmingham between 1-7May, 2023. It is hosted by Rotary International District 6860 (North and Central Alabama) in partnership with the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and the Institute of Human Rights at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Valentines day luncheon at Troy Rotary Club

District Governor Visits our Club
Our DG Dr. Dell Goodwin visited our club and talked about important work Rotary is doing around the world. She stressed on pursuing our vision and reminded us goals of Rotary. She also granted a check to Troy Rotary to build a dog part in town.
Club met at Pioneer Museum of Alabama hosting Ed and Carly Gannon, owner of Vintage Olive
Club met on Tuesday, May 3 at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama when Barbara Tatom hosted Ed and Carly Gannon as our guest speakers. Ed and Carly own The Vintage Olive in Montgomery, a specialty store that sells infused olive oils, balsamic vinegars, gluten free pastas, spices, olives and more. This was a great opportunity for the cooks among us to learn about the benefits of these products. They had some sample kits available for purchase.

November is International Education Month
The Club also hosted international students from Troy University. November is International Education Month and the Troy Rotary Club has welcomed international students at all of its luncheons this month.
Troy rotary raised $38k to fight against polio.
Maggie Hammond chaired the Purple Pinkie Donut Fundraiser campaign that raised over $38,000 to fight against polio, thanks to purchases of Dunkin Donuts by Troy Rotary Club members and matching gifts from District 6880, Rotary International, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
